The Stockholms stadhuss, known as ''Stockholm City Hall'' in english it's the main building of the municipal council for Stockholm. It's located in the eastern part of one of the ilands which form Stockholm called Kungsholmen.

It has many offices and conference rooms, as well as ceremonial halls and a luxury and very expensive restaurant called Stadhuskällaren.
Something important about this building is that it houses the called ''Blue Hall'', which is the place where they celebrate the anual banquet of the anual Nobel Prices.

The swedish government wanted to build a new City Hall in 1907 where the Eldkvarn mill was, but the construction didn't start until 1911. It took 12 years to finish the building, and the 13th June 1923 it was inaugurated. It's one of the best well known buildings in Sweden. You can see many tourists there because of it's importance and beauty.

On the top of the City Hall you can see three crowns. The Three Crowns (Tre Kronor) are an important symbol in Sweden.
