Riksdagshuset (Parlamento sueco)

The Riksdagshuset is the swedish parlament. It's name comes from the swedish expression ''rikets ständer'', which basicly means ''the states of the kigdom''.

It consist of 349 members (called riksdagsledamöter) that are elected by the people in sweden for serving in a period of four years, just like in Spain. The building was inaugurated in 1905 and in 1983 it got linked to the Swedish Central Bank.

It's devided in many places, it has many lobbies, rooms for the deputies, a plenary hall, big chambers for meetings... it also has it's own library. It's a beautyful building, and its surroundings are lovely. It's right next to the Royal Palace and both of them are in the heart of Stockholm, the old part of the city.
