The Royal Palace is located in Gamla Stan, the heart of Stockholm, right next to the parlament.

It's the official residence of the swedish monarchy, and it's the biggest palace in Sweden. Unfortunately, this is not the private residence of the royal family, they live in another palace called Drottningholm.The ones that are actually there are orther members of the royal family and their personal assistants. It's also used in special events when the king acts as head of state.

 This gigantic palace has more than 600 rooms and it's divided in 4 facades, each one representing something. The south facade represents the nation, the west one represents the king, the northern facade the royalty and finally the western represents the queen. This four facades are surrounding the courtyard.
